Myrel Looper started the family business in 1959 under the name Looper Fence Company, installing commercial and residential fence. In 1978 Lonny Fowler came to work for Myrel and became manager and co-owner of the company. Lonny built Looper into a multi-million dollar business receiving many awards. Cory Fowler worked for the company on and off growing up until 2006 when he started full time.
