Services
Leverage DETECT is committed to maintaining the high quality of life and general safety the public in your community deserve to enjoy.
It is our belief that a well-designed and skillfully implemented unified municipal surveillance platform enhances the capabilities of public safety while at the same time offering an improved quality of life to its residents.
We develop long-term relationships with our clients and the institutions, organizations, departments and agencies in your region.
Our goal is to help you identify and collaborate with others that share your video or data requirements, so you can share assets and work more efficiently, together.
Leverage Information Systems got its start in 1984, implementing analog phone systems and voice structured cabling systems for local agencies and businesses in the Seattle area.
Back then we operated under the name Communication Specialists (CSI).
By 1993, CSI had grown tremendously and had added data networking solutions to the lineup card.
We also established a sister company, Federal Network Services (FNS), dedicated to supporting federal customers throughout the United States.
In 2005, FNS initiated a municipal surveillance practice in Southern California and over the following years deployed many of the region's first successful municipal video surveillance systems.
DETECT VMS connects all the hardware, cameras, and viewing stations into one powerful application.
Users at any station use our software to view and control any camera directly, so video is delivered in real time.
Municipal Surveillance systems are as unique as are municipalities.
These systems are complex and require experience, techniques, and proper components - and what we used is determined by a strategic plan that includes all stakeholders and consideration of future requirements.
Concept The Leverage team starts by assessing resources and gathering requirements, and together we form a Video Surveillance System Information Technology collaboration group.
City investments in property and equipment are exposed to criminal mischief and theft, and can be frequently targeted.
Security cameras provide a 24/7 record to help with investigation and prosecution, and public safety staff can be alerted to the activity in real-time.
City properties can vary in size where entry/exit points can be exposed to unauthorized entry at all hours.
Properly placed cameras can maintain fence line coverage, sending alerts of any breaches to administrative staff.
Thermal intrusion cameras provide increased coverage of larger areas, where heat signatures provide alerts based on size and direction of objects entering the targeted area of concern.
Video surveillance provides additional officer safety because strategically positioned cameras in troubled areas allow for 24/7 observation of these areas prior to an officer's response.
Potential dangers are identified prior to any engagement, and the right response can happen every time.
We believe a proactive response is the best line of defense.
Audio intervention capability allows an operator to diffuse a situation before it requires officer response.
Pre-programmed camera actions allow for an immediate incident record to begin at the first trigger of an alarm, which means cameras automatically point to the problem and give responders both a heads up and a forensic record.
