Business Details
We have proudly served the Forest Lake community for over thirty years, beginning in 1989 with the founding of Barnum Door & Gate Services. Our founding leader, Tim Barnum, established a foundation of quality craftsmanship that guided our early growth. In 1994, Joe Kuppe joined the company, expanding our inventory and elevating our service offerings to meet evolving security demands. By 2004, after Tims retirement, Joe relocated the headquarters to Forest Lake, creating a larger warehouse and custom fabrication shop. In 2012 we promoted longtime employee Mike Senger to President, solidifying a leadership team that values expertise and innovation. The 2016 acquisition of American Specialty Door Systems broadened our product line to include overhead doors, video surveillance, and ministorage solutions.
Our 2018 move to a bigger building provided additional office space and a stateoftheart fabrication workshop. In 2019 we rebranded as Barnum Gate Service Inc., establishing a single brand that unifies all our services under one trusted name. Throughout each transition, we have maintained a commitment to professional standards, ensuring every installation meets rigorous safety and performance criteria. Our team is fully trained, certified, and treated as an integral part of the Barnum family, delivering personalized customer care. We continue to honor our legacy by prioritizing client satisfaction, safety, and the enduring quality of our equipment and service.
