Security Systems Techniques, Inc. known as SST was formed in 1990 to provide quality security products and services for correctional, military, and industrial clientele. The SST team is dedicated to providing solutions for any security challenge with its extensive research, development, and manufacturing capabilities. In the last 25 years, SST has grown from a small security contractor to a thriving corporation that services local, state and national government institutions.

Our rapid growth can be attributed to our staff of highly qualified engineers, technicians and managers. Our team members boast outstanding educational backgrounds and extensive field experience. Turnkey solutions progress rapidly from concept to completion under a well managed master schedule that includes frequent progress reports to the client.

Security Systems Techniques, Inc. is licensed for business by the City of San Diego and the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs under ACO Alarm Company License #4791, which also requires a Quality Manager (QM) license.
We are registered with the State Contractors License Board of California under sections C-7 Low-Voltage Systems License #825146, C-10 Electrical Systems License #825146, and C-28 Lock and Security Equipment License #825146.
We are also certified under the Small Business Participation Program by the State of California, Department of General Services, REF#0021773, and registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations #1000020309.
Security Systems Techniques, Inc. currently services and maintains Alarm and Communication systems for all of the San Diego County Courthouses, Intercom/Paging Systems and Door-Locking Control Systems for San Diego County Detention Facilities, and many smaller entities such as the Chula Vista Jail.
Past projects include Door-Locking Control Consoles, Intercom, and PA systems for over 10 state prisons, CCTV and Access Control systems for the San Diego County Operations Center, San Diego County Administration Center, San Diego County Sheriff's Headquarters, and many satellite offices.
