Central Security Systems incorporated in December of 1985.
The family business was started by Dick, Darlene and Don Harpster.
Our office moved to 370 NW Broad St. in downtown Southern Pines in 1988.
Bill Harpster, who joined the business in 1990, became Vice-President in 1997.
Jason Harpster, Dick's son, worked as a security technician part time during college and became General Manager in 2010.
Sandhills Home Theater was formed as a division of Central Security Systems in 1996 and has been a member of CEDIA since 1997.
